Being in a highly centred meditative state makes people more likely to receive psychic information from their sub-consciousness. Meditation allows the conscious mind to be calm and still, and therefore prevents outside distractions.

5. Appreciate the World

Become tuned in to your surroundings and the world around you. This can help to raise your levels of awareness. Concentrate not only on what you can see and hear, but also what you can touch, taste and smell. Try to use all of your senses as much as possible.

Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life from time to time, and find a peaceful spot, preferably outdoors, to relax and reflect. Being close to nature can enhance psychic awareness and help you to become more tuned in to your inner thoughts.

6. Dreams

Try to remember your dreams and write them down. See if you can see any patterns emerging, or obvious messages contained within your dreams.
