Several times a day we hear people achieving something great – something that we only dreamt of but never attempted for. Such news may arouse a feeling of disappointment in us that usually ends up with fake statements on our part. You must not get overly excited by the sudden boost of energy and motivation because it can actually negatively affect your potential. Set goals that you can really achieve in a reasonable amount of time.

Goal setting theory suggests that large goals should be divided into few smaller goals so that you can achieve them before losing interest in the goals altogether. Targets that take a considerable amount of time to accomplish usually reduce a person’s morale.
3. Evaluate Your Potentials and Then Set Deadlines
In the beginning, you feel like setting an example by accomplishing your targets as soon as possible. There is nothing wrong in aiming high. However, you must not be unrealistic and dreamy. First of all, comprehensively evaluate your potentials and then set the deadline. Don’t keep it too tight, neither too relaxed. Be moderate and realistic simultaneously.
4. Find and Overcome the Root Cause if Something Holds You Back

Keep trying and be proud that at least you are making an effort.
6. Be Persistent and Enjoy the Journey
At times, progress over the course of goal accomplishment may ask you to take a break, which can be very risky. You must be persistent while also enjoying this phase from scratch to goal accomplishment. Learn at every step and achieve deadlines.
7. Keep a Track Record
Keep recording your progress over a period of time so that you can reward yourself on a regular basis. In addition, a record will help you to track when, where, and why your progress slowed down (if ever).
8. Meditation Can Help
Meditation also helps to increase will power. You tend to gain psychological strength in the form of enhanced determination so that you can achieve even the toughest goals of your life.
